Julia's Circle Will Match Your Donation

"I want to use my 100th birthday to bring new thinking to the prospects for peace in the world," said Kathryn W. Davis last year as she launched an extraordinary initiative to encourage young people to think and act creatively to build world peace. Dr. Davis is just one of the extraordinary women – all mothers themselves – who make up Julia's Circle, who have offered to match all donations to the Mother's Day Peace Fund. Julia's Circle is named for Julia Ward Howe, who proposed the establishment of a Mother's Peace Day after the American Civil War. Thanks to these women's vision and generosity, your Mother's Day gift will work twice as hard to make the world safer for children and families around the world. Meet the members of Julia’s Circle: |

"Having a peaceful world means as much to me as having a peaceful home: without one, you can't have the other so recognizing our similarities rather than focusing on our differences is crucial to our long term survival as a planet." |
